St Andrew’s Grade 8 Camp is an annual event that every student looks forward to. It’s a two-day camp filled with fun activities, bonding moments, and valuable lessons that students will carry throughout their lives.
This year’s camp was no exception, with students participating in hiking, teambuilding, and wall climbing activities. Hiking 🚶🏻♀ was one of the most exciting activities during the camp. Students were able to explore the beautiful scenery around the campsite⛺, which included majestic mountain views⛰️. Students had the opportunity to learn about the importance of respecting nature and the environment.
It was an excellent opportunity to connect with nature, breathe in the fresh air, and appreciate the beauty of the outdoors. Teambuilding activities were also an essential part of the camp.
Students were divided into groups: the yellow team🟨 and the green team🟩, and had to work together to solve puzzles🧩, complete challenges, and overcome obstacles. These activities helped students develop critical thinking🤔, communication💬, and leadership skills. They learned how to trust and rely on each other, which are essential qualities for success in both personal and professional settings.
Wall climbing was one of the most thrilling activities during the camp. Students were able to challenge themselves and push beyond their limits. It was an opportunity to conquer their fears and develop self-confidence.
Wall climbing🧗🏻♂️ also required teamwork, as students had to support each other and provide encouragement👏🏻.
